Need

by Mishka   Aug 30, 2008

She woke up
Restless
Sad
Needy
Thinking
God, please feed me

She stood
Dizzy
Weak
Grabbing for it
God, don't let me speak

Foot steps front
Then front again
Her skin feels tight
Her mind feels pain

She gets through the door
She screams in her mind
God, please don't let me find

She searches, she sees
She grabs it fast
Swallows in three

God, yes you're angry
You're angry with me
But I couldn't help it
I needed you with me

Her body
It's changing
Excitement
Courage
Everything she ever wanted
She has become
She can live this happy
For a few hours to come

She falls she crawls
She grasps the sky
She doesn't know it's just a fly
That's buzzing at her side

The world
Is lovely
No war
Just peace
No anger
Just me
Me and God
Sitting together
Sipping tea
Me and God
That's all I ever need

Not sure I understood this one. I don't really like long poems. Your rhyming was good, except for become and come. That sounded a little awkward to me. I'd try reworking this.

And thanks for your comment- I'm not sure exactly what it was about, since I wrote it a while a go.
