Scars

The pain you left me with,
Is too much to bare.
You and I were just a myth,
So now the scars I wear.

I was believing
It would always be me and you.
But now I am grieving
Those lies too.

My heart is broken.
My soul is tired.
But I have re-woken
And the flame is re-fired.

Even though you left me alone,
I will make it through.
Cause the light has been shown
And this time, it's true.
