The Dance Hall Falls

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Aug 31, 2008

I take your hand in mine
May I have this dance?
I hold you close against me
In case I get no other chance
Tears roll down my eyes
As I whisper you the truth
The truth is that I love you
The heart on your ring is proof
I hold you close against me
You listen to my heart
The world crumbles around us
As we watch it fall apart
I hold you close so wildly
Because I can't let you go
The dance hall can sink into the sea
If that's how the story goes
But halls can be rebuilt
3 years, we have time
As long as you are with me
If I am yours and you are mine
I hold my love in my arms
I whisper "I love you"
Just know the world will fall apart
Before we ever do
