This Heart

by Caetlin Miakoda Collison   Aug 31, 2008

Your name
A whisper in the breeze
That brings gentle tears to my eyes

Your touch
A memory that can fill a canyon
With heart breaking sorrow

Your voice
Sensual as it filled my ears
With promises lost and forgotten

Oh to forget your memory
And never have to be lost again
Wandering in the dark

Oh to forget that joy
So this heart would never break again
To be stone

But to never remeber would mean
I would never know
That this heart could love
