Never Again

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Aug 31, 2008

You ripped the flower from the ground
and tore out the petals once bound.
You sliced clean the stem's thorns used as defense
and discombobulated what made sense.

You used the weakness left in her
until her sight was a mere blur.
Guiding her while she was stunned blind
with path directions misaligned.

Spewing promises and dreams
to tear them from the seams.
All the words scribbled out,
turning faith into doubt.

How could you take then simply leave?
All you ever did was deceive.
Now it's all over, there is no more.
You won't kill me like you did before.

Amazing! Expressing your emotions through a flower was unique and very interesting to read.
