Now that you're gone

by RoseBlood   Sep 1, 2008

Dirty apartment made of four walls,
and a cat that comes inside when the rain falls.
Boring job in the tube that lasts only half of one day,
and then the same old program on the same old channel on the black&white TV.
This is what my life has become,
now that you're gone.

I wish you didn't have to go
I wish you could have stayed
I wish you weren't nowhere else
but here with me.

I wish the summer hasn't ended
so soon, so fast.
I wish we had more time to spent,
together as we were.

Can't say that I need you.
But, I can't go on without you.
I just don't know what to do,
alone with myself and no one else.

It is just that now that you're gone,
and I'm left all alone,
I don't have a reason to live,
I don't have love...

Now that you're gone,
everything is wrong,
even tough it was wrong and when you were here.
I must say that I want you back,
I can't live without you and your touch,
now that you're gone.

Dedicated to the guy I was with this summer, but he left in his hometown.

^^^^The hardest thing in the world is to keep the faith that one day love will come your way again...
I know from experience it will, but many times I felt exactly the way you are describing here.
Keep writing, you know how to portray your feelings very well:)

    Hugs,
