You ask me

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Sep 1, 2008

You ask me if i love you.
As if you don't know the reply.
Is there anyone else other than yourself?
Who makes me laugh and cry?

Who sings me a lullaby.
When i cry myself to sleep?
When i fall down the mountain.
You smoothened the mountain's steep.

I don't know why i feel like that.
I hope it's something real.
Not a teenage love or a passing thing.
Nor a love that time could steal.

Maybe its the sparkle in your eyes.
Or your smile when your cheeks turn red.
Or maybe you're a true gentleman.
From your toe up to your head.

If love is blind.
Than i don't want my sight.
Maybe i want the darkness.
Instead of choosing the light.

Of course i love you.
With all the love my heart can give.
Seems loving you that much is fatal.
But,without you,who says i want to live?

You ask me if i love you.
As if you don't know the reply.
Is there anyone else other than yourself?
Who makes me laugh and cry?
