Empty Road [The End]

by Beautiful Forever   Sep 1, 2008

How many lies can I swallow,
While you watch me fall apart,
Gradually I've become more hollow,
You were disastrous from the start,

Walking away seems so hard to do,
With broken legs I try to walk on,
Sickening the state I've fallen to,
As my sights approach the new dawn,

Tired and hungry I travel alone,
My glistening eyes stare ahead,
With no soul I've become a drone,
Wishing one day that I'll be dead,

This empty road is not rewarding,
Tearing my soul into pieces,
Memories of you are what I'm hoarding,
As my heart rate slowly decreases...
