Maybe It's Happiness

You see
I want to write this poem
I'm just not quite sure how
'Cause I haven't really felt this way
For long until right now

I dunno
Exactly what to say
I'm used to writing different work
The paper's staring up at me
Painted with a fading smirk

But maybe
Maybe I'll find the words
To explain just what I feel
Without describing bitter thoughts
Always tainted, yet still so real

I guess
It might be happiness
This feeling from my gut
It feels as if the world's alright
And finally out of the rut

Now I'm not
Saying that this will last
It might be just a day
But I'm just saying it's kinda nice
To cherish anyway
