Alone

by Cody   Sep 1, 2008

In the end we are all alone
No matter how much love we are shown
There is no cure
But we are all caught on hopes lure

We fight and strive
To save that light inside
But truth be told
We all grow cold.

In this world all our solaces are fleeting
And our hearts are barely beating
So cut out my heart and throw it to the wind
No one can pretend to cherish it then

    AHHHH!! Like I told you!!
You are not deleting it ^^
    Please big bro for me!!
My favorite two lines were "In this world all our solaces are fleeting
And our hearts are barely beating"
This one just honestly caught my eye and I fell in love with the "barly beating" part :D
I love you mucho MWAHH xxx

A depressing poem, yet still well-worded at the same time.
