Sun and Moon

by TwistedDancingCorpse   Sep 1, 2008

Within my chest lies a fading ember
glowing dimly my needs are forgotten
wanting to go out forever
I am extinguished

Floating through this torment reeks darkness
ashes waft by my eyes turned to dust
laughter echoes in the tears of the soul
my own name was the kiss of death
as we embraced

Flawless were your words to my ears
perfect was your lips to mine
just right our hands held together
we matched in every way

Pale shade of the moon
I drift on the winds
waiting to be caught
in your arms

As the sun burns my eyes
your words scorch my heart
into a fire the ember ignites
lighting the path once again
i have found our love

together we will always be
just the two of us
you and me

no one has to know
how you caught the moon
reaching out your arms
praying for my love
I gave you my word

perfect we are together
flawless our trust is bound
inside my chest
this ember pounds

Blazing a heat of love
it scorches all who look
jealousy consumes them
as they see the moon with the sun
