No One Seems to Care

by Brooke Haley   Sep 1, 2008

She smiles with a fake smile, and laughs with pain. No one understands how she feels. No one seems to care. She walks around with a pain she shouldn't have. With scars that should never have been. She tries to hide it, thinking no one sees. She loves a guy who can't even see her. She is invisible in a crowded room. She screams at the top of her lungs but no one seems to hear. She wants to feel loved and wanted, but no one has the right way to say it. The pain inside her is slowly eating her happiness. She wants the pain to stop, but it keeps growing. Her scars aren't only physical but emotional as well. She wants to have trust in people, but has been lied to so many times. She needs someone to tell her they care and need to see her happy. But no one has come yet. Her prince in shining armour hasn't arrived. She will be alone forever. These scars she will carry forever. She smiles with a fake smile, laughs with pain. No one understands how she feels. NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE.
