The Day I Died

by Alicia   Jun 5, 2004

The day I died,
the same day you cried,
your teadrops,
streaming a path of pain,
down your precious face,
now makeup stained,
my heart a hollow space,
as I slowly crumble,
with every step I stumble,
trying to find my way,
victim through decay;

With each tear dropped,
part of me has stopped,
slowly my heart grew cold,
for the warm thoughts have grown old,
blood in my veins did freeze,
body halted and seized,
when your crying did stop,
so did I.
