The Music in the Cafe

by ImperfectBliss   Sep 1, 2008

Drummer pounding out the beat

An instrument's heartbeat thrumming

The guitarist bobbing his head

As his fingers float over the strings

The people at the tables, on the couch

Nodding their heads in time with the drum

The sipping sounds of the people with their drinks

Add to the music in the cafe

And shed a curtain of relaxation

Over the crowd gathered

Here at the cafe.

I really like this, very unique topic...I could see this scene going on in my mind, and it made me want to be there! Keep writing, always and forever....
