Locked Away

by Caetlin Miakoda Collison   Sep 1, 2008

Gold eyes stare through the frosted window
Shimmering with tears So long past
To Long she cried
And now she can no more

SO long she loved
and lay broken
Her heart once warm and beating
Lies still and cold
Locked away in a cage of rage

Gold Eyes Stare cold
Into a world that doesn't matter
For the girl in the window
Can no longer feel
Locked away to besafe
Locked away behind her steel
