Because

by pam   Sep 2, 2008

For all it is worth

love bears no clause

just misses and pause

just simply...because

I have loved as ought

possibly too well to a fault

guided by heartbeats

by unthinking thoughts

fumbling like manmade gods

mucked up, botched

nightly lonely monologues

seeking reasons naught

just mere echoes

just faint whispers

as I hold out in suspended bewilder

sustained by the ghost of a lover

like bread and butter
