My new close friends

I made some new friends this week
friends other than from school
ones who share my interest
and are really really cool

i talked to them in other years
but never got that close
until this year it happened
someone broke the ice

we hung out very often
almost always together
sharing laughs and enjoying
all the fair had to offer

just like friends from school
we made bonds
we played games, laughed, and just had fun
just like everyone!

but sadly now the fair is over
I'll see them in a few months and next year of course
but until then I'll miss them terribly
my new friends they are
