Through the elementry
playing ball at recess
getting chased by little boys
and splashed in our faces

Through the teachers yelling
when we crack stupid jokes
and make funny sounds
noone ever hear

Through junior high
when we think we are cool
we dress in style
and meet our own boyfriend

Through terrible break ups
and broken heart and dreams
we still goof off
when our stupid teacher screams

we laugh at kids that look lost
and study a little to much
and we laugh when our hair
is in a terrible mess

through the high school years
when tears are all over us
we support each other
and try not to complain

we turn a little serious
but still joke at little pranks
we make goofy sounds
just like in elementry school!!
