Starry Eyes

Gleaming brightly in the moonlight,
she looked into his starry eyes,
wondering what he's thinking,
as he starred into the sky.

he gazed deeply into her soft face,
and wished for her to be his forever.
he realized this is where he should be,
as they pressed their lips together.

tears gathered in her eyes,
as it was about time to leave.
she'll miss him more than anything,
her love could never be deceived.

as they talked on the phone,
he gently sang her a song.
her breathe was taken away,
this love, it can't be wrong.

at night she gets so lonely,
his touch is what she needs.
he wants her there now,
without her his heart bleeds.

he can hardly wait to see her,
stronger gets the anticipation.
she patiently waits,
as he soon relieves her temptation.

together at last,
in each others are they remain.
with him she's everything,
with her he feels no pain.

again, she stares into his starry eyes,
wishing it would last forever.
he knows this love can last a lifetime,
from now and on forever.
