Anger...like fire

by Pam   Sep 3, 2008

I don't know what to do,
I don't know how long I can go,
This anger burning inside me,
Will soon be out of control,

I have to get away,
From this anger building place,
Before it completely consumes me,
Mind, Body, and Fate,

This anger is like fire,
Burning tell no end,
Turning all my thoughts and feelings,
To negative energies,

I need to find water,
To Put this fire out,
I need to find positive energy,
With that it should help,

This anger is getting stronger,
The fires getting higher,
With all the things being said,
Its like feeding a wild fire,

My patience are wearing thin,
The fire is eating it away,
Someone please help me,
My insides turning Grey,

Soon I will lose it,
Starting to lose control,
I can clearly see it now,
The fire devouring my soul,

My mind is completely gone,
Nothing left to say,
Hopefully next time,
I will have a better day.

At times this work feels a tad ackward in places, however, the poet has the deft ability to make it feel "real"/organic - poet-poem-receiver - the creator of this piece weaves it in such a way with chosen words and the sounds they make (some you only hear inside your cranium grotto) in such a manner that it makes the receiver feel like the poet/writer is talking to a "friend", not a seperated aural/visual voyuer! This poem is far better than a mere "4" and, in the end,
I find myself returning to it...with its delightfully clever finish!
