The Maiden

by fauji   Sep 4, 2008

A girl with moonlike innocence wrapped,
A beauty with sunlike glory trapped:
Heart of a Mother with loads of love and care,
Soul like the Ganges clean and pure:
A persona charming from head to heel,
A mystical aura sending a mythical feel.

Men takes turn to make her their comrade,
Also play harp and sing soothing serenade:
But a prince comes riding chariot golden,
Taking along with him the loveliest maiden:
Her absence will create in hearts a large void,
Leaving people lovelorn, for her love devoid.
