Taken, Not Forsaken

by David Munoz   Jun 5, 2004

In the beginning
It was just you and me
Together Forever
As lovers should be

Our love was unbreakable
Filled with passion and fire
Filling us both
With longing and desire

When the problems arose
We just slapped them down
Nothing could touch this love
Or pull it to the ground

But then it happened
We started to see
It had become clear
That we weren't ready

We weren't ready for love
And how love is mean
Weren't ready for each other
We were just Fifteen

Though we may not be together
You still keep me taken
Believing that our love
Will not be forsaken

While we are apart
My wait will stay true
For the only thing I desire
Is to be with you
