When You Leave

by Just Sierra   Sep 5, 2008

I can't let you go, in one way or two
Wherever you go, you take my heart with you
With every step heading toward the door,
I see my life, like the sun, die more and more.

You can't turn around, not now or ever
We swore that we were in this together
Entertwined by fate like the sky to a star,
You play my heart like you play your guitar.

It simply can't happen, can never be true
I put myself so completely, so intently in you.
It just can't happen, I refuse to believe
That a love, like ours, can simply die when you leave.
