A journey for naught but simple pleasure,
yet none be so desperate as I.
Chained in this cage for so long was I,
this locked away life from the vast land.
Freedom is but this window of mine,
I have seen the truths of man.
Greed does this creature seek,
lust for the touch of a warm body.
Clouded the judgement of their minds,
to be in such a paradise is the dream.
Never again this life be in waste,
chains crumbled as I stand in place.
Weak, worked hands stretch for my window,
the paradise and end of my journey.
If only I could have this feeling,
yet forever am I this tormented being.
