Ancient Wall Of Silence

by RainbowSlider   Sep 5, 2008

What good was our wall of silence
When it too could promote violence?
For their curiosity was too great
And with their fear they intimidate.

What good was it to be invisible
With questions so understandable?
Did our wall pose such a threat
That they couldn't just forget?

What good would it be to be knowable
If their curiosity wasn't allowable?
Maybe they will find us some day
But it must be in their own way.

What good is their belief we were
Like them before we seemed a blur?
In their minds like an itching thing
Probing where to we became missing.

What good is their missing link
When their existence is on the brink?
Can't they see we are simply not there?
Yet, why do they constantly stare?
