Anywho, yea I can totally understand where you are coming from with this. You make a really good and important point. I just wish the whole rest of the world would read it.

Ironic, isn't it, that a lot of the "emo music" is about making yourself heard but no matter how loud you yell, you are still crushed by those who don't undetstand.

Wow. I so don't think it's funny at all. I know exactly what it's like to be called "emo" and to be made fun of because of my music. The school I go to is full of wanna be gansters and jocks. There's only 3 people in my school who get teased. Me, and my 2 friends. It sucks when everyone tells you to be different, and yet they're the ones who make fun of you. I just... I don't get it. Everyone needs to read this... Maybe they'll realize all the hurt and pain they cause people.

You will always get more respect if you are legit. if you are being emo just to be cool, then its the same as being anything else just to be cool. i definately know what your talking about and agree with you. but be careful not to judge them as much as they judge you. i hate preps probably more than you, but make sure your hatred is deserved and not just unfair judging.

This is REALLY good. And SO true. I'm sometimes mistaked as being emo...I dress like it a lot, so that's probably why. I just love this poem so much ... GREAT JOB & KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
