Secrets and Blood

by StandStill   Sep 6, 2008

Nasty little secrets,
word you'll never speak.
Pouring out from broken wrists,
with your blood they leak.

Ugly little secrets,
the world will never hear.
Crashing out from within your head,
falling with your tears.

Sweet plastic smiles fix the chasm,
the one that stretches far and long.
Find solitutde and redemption
in every simple song.

Sick-minded little secrets,
bought with the rose's veins.
Crying out temptation
for redemptive, silent pain.
