As the Raindrops Hit the Ground

by daniel   Sep 6, 2008

A subtle sound is to be heard
As the raindrops hit the ground
I can feel it all around
As the raindrops hit the ground
I can hear her soft whispers
As the rain keeps falling down
I almost envision those eyes
That removes the sight from sound
As the rain keeps falling down
I can feel her all around

There is a word to be said
As my face moves towards her head
As the lightning flashes from the clouds
And her hair comes clashing down
Once again removing sight from sound
As the lightning flashes from the clouds
I can feel her all around
As her body hits the ground

I can hear myself scream and shout
As the raindrops hit the ground
I can feel my heart beat pound and pound
As the rain keeps falling down
Her lips shape words in silence
As she rises towards the clouds
Leaving her body at the ground
She can hear me cry out
As the sun rises above the clouds
I can feel my heartbeat fall back down

There breaks a peace inside of me
I spent a lifetime looking for it to be found
Now I feel it
Now it is found
She disappears into the light
As the tear drops hit the ground
As the rain stops falling down
As the sunset drops below the clouds

I can feel the warmth of light
Shining from her gound
As the sun light is beaming down
As her beauty hits the ground
Clashing sight into sound
With her I follow
With her I am bound
As the raindrops hit the ground
As the raindrops hit the ground
