Healing Rain

by Come What May   Sep 6, 2008

I see the clouds,
The dark comes in.
The thunder crashes,
But it won't begin...

The tears of heav'n
Have yet to fall.
Much like mine,
God want's them stalled.

To build, to grow!
Then torrent down.
They stain my cheeks,
And wet the ground.

But rain is good,
I've heard it said.
Then why inside,
Do I feel dead?

Are tears and rain,
Not the just the same?
I see no difference
In tears and rain.

So should tears heal too
My soul's desire?
Or should they consume,
My soul in fire?

A burning urge
That you can't see.
A burning, yearning,
For normalcy.

Perhaps I'll dance
In healing rains.
I'll cry my tears...
Then live again.
