I totally understand what you are going through. I find that what you gain from being older is more chances to have a heart broken. At 38 I am still trying to get it right. It is true you do learn from mistakes but the most important lesson you can learn is the one about yourself, for to love anyone, you have to first learn to love yourself. I personally didn't learn that particular lesson untill well into my 20's, in fact I am still learning and probably will until the day I die!
