THE DARK SHADOW

by marclin   Sep 7, 2008

Alone in the dark night
The moon is shining bright
Bats flying and owls croaking
And every wolf you'll see is howling

A black shadow comes from nowhere
His getting nearer over here
I can see his red piercing eyes looking at me
And his sharp claws trying to reach me

I run and run as fast as I could
And go deeper down the woods
Turning my eyes from side to side
Trying to find some place to hide

An abandoned house ahead of me I see
I must go there before the black shadow catches me
But not far from me, now I can hear and see
A crying white lady also staring at me

She is calling my name with some words I can't define
Only four words are clear," the baby is mine"
I look back and see the black shadow with a baby
Now I understand what she means to say

I do not know what to do now
But I should kill the black shadow somehow
Now, I can see a spear underneath a tree
I'll try to take it as fast as I can be

I stub the spear on the heart of the black shadow
He then cried out loud and gone in a glow
I took the baby and saw that he is smiling at me
But now I could not see the crying white lady

Note: for now, I will not end the story yet
Because I know you will make one, I bet
