We gather to wait around until the gates open
and replenish ourselves after some of the cloudiest nights
reconvened with hazy humor and questions sprung from doubt
the day is new and we look forward to not only the next time
but the future as a whole and everything it has to bring
moments like these don't rival each other
and could never be exchanged
they only amount as a whole
and will always be retold
