Turn Away

by Beautiful Chaos   Sep 8, 2008

Diamond beads,
Teardrop dew,
Fall upon her skin,

She knew it,
From the very start,
She should not let him in.

Those lying eyes,
Deceptive lips,
Soft when first you meet,

But an icy heart,
And vacant soul,
Will leave you incomplete.

Breaking down,
Day by day,
Until nothing good remains,

Just broken pieces,
Of a heart,
Flowing through your veins.

Save yourself,
And turn around,
Forget that lusty stare,

The only thing,
It has to give,
Is something you can't bear.

A very good write. Loved the structure. The words were simple yet so understandable. I really enjoyed the whole of it.
