First I need to say, I have always been in love with that "feline" :) ...this poem has some kinks and flaws in it, such as a sudden reference to a "sea", however, it is far better than a mere "4" rating! The poet seems to have a natural sense for elements of truly excellent poetry that so many others seem to miss - that words are more than just dictionary et. al given meaning; it has sound, tonal quality and aural importance (even if it is just heard inside the receivers' head). And, this work weaves it all into an Ophric delivery that holds its experiencer till the end and allows for them to leave with such a "grin"! |
