Hanging with our friends
Your arms wrapped around my waist
Though its meant to be a sign of affection
Its the only way I feel safe

It never ceases to amaze me
How gentle you can be
When you have muscles so astounding
That anyone can see

Laying down against your chest
On my shoulder you lay your head
I love how alive you make me feel
When not too long ago I felt so dead

Your fingers tickling my sides
A laugh escapes my lips
You brush my thigh so gently
With such strong finger tips

Your smile just amazes me
It makes my body weak

And it becomes hard to speak

What amazes me the most
Is how a guy like you could fall for me
A girl who was once so broken
