So today you managed to break my heart
You gave me those last fatal words
You told me all we'll be is just friends
I guess its really too bad I fell for you

Two nights ago everything was fine
Then suddenly the world turned
and everything managed to fall apart
And now I am trying to understand

I am not exactly sure what happened
All I know is when I called to talk

You didn't sound at all the same
and I knew something wasn't right

Its weird how everything went
It was perfect and now its broken
I found a way to get to you, to see you
And now you don't even want me there

So I sit here reading through our stories,
Finally inspired enough to write
From this broken heart comes my best
Yet my mascara runs down my face

So don't message me or text me
It will just hurt me more than anything
I cant believe it, everything was perfect
And now it has disappeared into the past

So this morning I spent the day wondering
What was going to happen with us?
But this afternoon those fatal words haunt me
