Just Us

by Joshua Lee   Sep 10, 2008

Just us

it was only you and I

that dark night

under the pale moonlight

and starry sky

just us

no one else

you were here

close to me

so soft, so real

so serene and lovely

Just us

sitting down

holding hands

counting twinkles in the sky

and the sparkles on our lips

hoping time would pass us by

eternally in bliss

just us

laying down

staying still

our eyes closed

our limbs entwined

and minds connected

with our hearts combined

just us

lasting forever

but only for a moment

living in still time

revisited

countlessly

for the countless times

we needed another

wished for each other

longed for our lover

just us

to stay like this forever

WOW!! there is so much feeling in this verse it'll stay in my mind for some time now. I love the way you used rhyme and how there was beat and rhythm in time. These words are meaningful and it makes them so powerful. Please dont stop writing to see more would be exciting :) hehe i tried my best to rhyme hehe :P xx
