Burning Willow

Lightning strikes downwards
with a bright thunderous boom
burning willow weeps

This is a fabulous haiku, and I have enjoyed each line of this. Such beauty and descriptions are portrayed in this short poem, and this haiku really is wonderful. Keep writing, always and forever...

    Grant,

You have made an excellent job of this form. The subject of a tree struck by the bullying force of nature is fantastic and the imgage of the scorched weeping willow is still with me now.

    Very well done

    Michael
