Pretending

I see you walking towards me
you see me staring and smile
my whole body begins to shake
ur close to be now
oh how i want to kiss you
you give me a hug and i die
u look at me with those amazing eyes
i feel his touch on my back and saying its time to go
i say goodbye but my heart is screaming "dont do it"
i turn and walk away with him
as i look back i see a tear fall down ur face
i cant cry in front of him so i blink them away
i look back ahead and walk forward
having to let you go is something im not willing to do
so i pretend im over you and keep walking forward with his hand in mine
