Saying, "I love you"

by Beautiful Forever   Sep 10, 2008

Static voices it's opinion through air,
Scratched sounds echo through deaf ears,
All senses scream that feeling is there,
After they learn to accept their fears,

Sounds travel faster than comprehension,
As tears fall slower than insecurity,
Emotions pour into a smothering tension,
With hopes to regain their purity,

Frightened confessions lose their way,
Trying to find an opening to invade,
Desperately fighting to not go astray,
Refusing to believe they are betrayed,

Confusion subsides in it's own regret,
Failing to intentions perfectly true,
With a soft voice impossible to forget,
Whispering, "I will always love you"

----------------------------------------------------------
The emotions I've pent up while trying not to fall in love. But, it happened and I whispered softly to Kaitlin that I loved her. -- Inspirational poem for me.
