Good haiku, great imagery that appears in my mind when I read this. Keep writing, always and forever....

For some reason I pictured a star hanging from a noose when I read this, and that actually made me enjoy this poem more.
It has the potential to be taken in darker undertones, which gives it depth.
Well done and keep it up!
