Who else but me

by kelleyana   Sep 10, 2008

Who else
who else but me
who else could it ever be
but you and me
MY presence you feel even when you're not with me

let it be me, who else, but me
be me, only you and me
in the mirror you are eager to get a glympse of me
touch me, feel me, carress me and think of me
now you realize it's me, my only me within me
who else but me

my image makes you wonder,
who else could this ever be but me
look at me, close your eyes and think of me
my smile, my lasting fragrance, my identical me and myself within me.

let me be, oh please let me be me
In the rays of sunshine, you're always with me, behind or before me
You whisper sweet words in my ears, my lips smile
You're my invisible me.
helps me to be me, without you i can't be me
you dwelled in my head, you guide me by my feet
You guide me when i'm wrong
I'm weak and you're strong
Who else could it be but myself that dwells within me.

I liked this poem. The first stanza wasn't that great for me but it was ok. The wording was great. I gave this poem a 5/5.
