My Dark Shade

Something I see in my mind,
in hopes to one day find,
this person within me.
A sweet young child,
grown up to be wild,
a brand new me.

Walk along these sorrow shores,
life so spent, yet continue I will,
never looking back, walking still.
Finding this one I see, my goal,
this I set, goal is made,
i will find you, my dark shade.
