A perfect day

I've been imagining a moment in my life so clear and peaceful such a beautiful sight with just me and her there is a place i know it has a clear blue fresh water where a river flows with the afternoon sun coming through the trees the wind sweeps down in a steady warm summer breeze there are roman ruins around a stone angel stares at us from its stand it looks down on us as we are holding hands sitting by the waters edge and i tell her i love her while I'm staring into her beautiful eyes as deep as the river as clear as the sky's i go to brush the hair out of her eyes and i reach over to kiss her and we stay there for the rest of the day just in each others embrace
