Brook

by Helena Jaster   Sep 10, 2008

The water breaks
with the reflective light of the sun
dancing on the surface
crest to crest
like a thousand diamonds
cast upon the surface with idle hands
The sounds of seagulls and geese
reverberates in my mind
as the sun and my spirit
begins to rise
for this moment only

I love it, but it just seems...uneven. Your lines are very original and beautiful, so it is still a great poem. Again, it is very original...good job.
