Rememberance of 9/11

by Chelsea   Sep 11, 2008

Two planes crash
In a sea of dust
Running citizens scream
Yelling for help
Two buildings fall
People inside
No place to run
Nowhere to hide

A hole in the wall
Looking down
Seeing people crying
Knowing you're gonna die
What do you do
Jump or wait for help

Why would they do this
How could they do this
Innocent people
Taking their lives
What about their family
What will they do
Knowing that you killed a piece of them too

Wow, this gave me goosebumps. This day is one of the days that will never be forgotten. Ever. I loved the way you described this, it's very sad.. but you can picture it very easily. Such a tragic day in history, and every year it's remembered. Thanks for writing a poem about 9/11, I have not seen one yet today. Well done. 5/5.
