Life vs. Death

by Taylor   Sep 11, 2008

The forest whispers her name with force
Grasping for air, she is going blind
The light is tearing into her, trying to take her away
She is trying to open her eyes, trying to breathe
Her senses are deadening, every thing's numb

The ghosts touch her with such sweet caress
Her mind full of wonder, needing the thought
Becoming weaker by the second, trying to speak
Attempting to scream with what she has left
Getting more difficult to fight this struggle

Caught in between life and death, bringing excruciating pain
Immortal-ism has faded, and now it's fates choice
Let her live hell, or let her die gracefully?
Dead and alive at the same time, she can't try anymore
Heart has stopped, and eyes are white

Face blank, yet with so much emotion
As a darkened tear flows down her cheek
No one can hear her, silent as night
Eyes wide open, as the light shines down
Lifting her up to the place unknown

Two Godly angels are in the mass of a duel
Fighting for the girl's life, and she starts to awake
Breath is rushing back, but still thin as air
Heart barely beating, eyes still blinded
See's two figures above her, doesn't know what to do

Attempts to move, but she's paralyzed
Prays for hope, though the dwelling inside her
Isn't too magical, and she leaves her blessings
Waits for the life to leave forever, and never come back
When Life vs. Death, Death will always overcome
