Tied

So many words are left, unheard,
So many actions left, unseen,
So many hearts left, undone
So many things happen around us
Yet we do not notice them

We see the things that help us in life
The words of our friends, of our family
Are unheard because society is too focused on this or that
The actions of the brave nobodies of the world
Are not seen because they are just that, nobodies

These hearts left undone
Left undone for so many reasons
Shattered hearts from the lovers who have died
From lovers who have left one another
My heart as well is undone

I keep it untied, so that never again
Will that feeling return
Once, I tied it so tight that everything inside would never get out
Now you see it
Open, empty, alone

My words for her were not heard
My actions left unseen
My heart left undone
As if, it was supposed to be that way
So as words go unheard

Actions go unseen
Hearts go undone
I shall live on
Watching those unseen actions, hearing those unheard words,
And forever trying to re-tie my heart
