Ending Day

Morning glow upon my face,
sun shone high on good grace.
Road ahead knowing not the future,
happiness claimed is the goal most wanted.

Noon shifts on life's embrace,
lessons learned life went on.
Closer now is my rightful place,
Continued on through my road.

Evening arrives with most haste,
reflected now looking back.
Finding out one never will lack,
how men's day's will end the same.
