A Tear Holds...

by Mishka   Sep 12, 2008

What is inside of a tear
That nothing else can hold
A piece of missing feeling
A hurtful sound
A painful look
A sad little girl
A lock that's broke

A tear holds my sadness
That you've never even felt
It's deeper than a knife
Cutting deep down
It's deeper than my heart
Can melt

A tear holds the make-up
That I use to cover up my grief
It holds my mistakes
My scoldings
My broken dreams

A tear keeps my lonliness
Tight in a jar
It runs down so fast
And falls so far

Does anyone see?
Does anyone know?
They don't ever look
I'm glad that they go

A tear is shed
When your life is unfair
A tear is always replaced
With another more rare

Pain, hurt
Dark rooms
Cold sounds
No footsteps
Coming around

My tears I cry
Are special sometimes
I cry them because I love you
I hope you realise
It's the sadness coming from my eyes
